London Breed has failed San Francisco. Residents fear for their safety, brazen crime runs rampant, tent encampments have flourished, drug dealers have taken over neighborhoods, businesses continue to close at an alarming rate, we’ve had the slowest downtown recovery of any major city post COVID, and the fentanyl and overdose crisis has only gotten worse every year under her watch. San Franciscans are fed up.

London Breed has had over five years to get San Francisco on the right track. She has failed miserably and her efforts are now too little, too late.

We deserve better. We deserve a Mayor that has a track record of taking bold action on the top issues facing San Francisco like public safety, street behavior and conditions, homelessness, and helping businesses thrive. We deserve a Mayor that can bring the change and experience that San Francisco desperately needs before it’s too late

We deserve a Mayor like former Mayor Mark Farrell.

Mayor Mark Farrell is a leader with the proven experience that we know can fix London Breed’s mess and get San Francisco back on the right track. As Mayor, he was laser focused on addressing the top issues that London Breed has allowed to spiral out of control. In just seven months, Mayor Mark Farrell cleared all large tent encampments while offering shelter to every affected homeless individual. 

As Supervisor, Mark Farrell authored, and voters approved, the Housing Not Tents ballot measure, which prohibited tents on public sidewalks and required the city to offer shelter to homeless people. The law helped remove hundreds of tents from city sidewalks while connecting people to services and shelter until the city stopped enforcing the law under London Breed. 

As Supervisor, Mark Farrell spearheaded the implementation of Laura’s Law, giving the city the authority to compel treatment for people suffering from serious mental illness on our streets. 

As the longest serving Budget Chair for the Board of Supervisors, Mark fought to increase the police budget every year because he anticipated the police staff shortages and retention issues that Mayor Breed is now presiding over. Unfortunately, Mayor Breed cut over a hundred million dollars in funding for the police department during her first years in office.

Mayor Mark Farrell brings both government and private sector experience. Mark runs a successful business, has helped create thousands of jobs through his company’s investments, and has the knowledge and relationships to reverse the damage to businesses and downtown that Mayor Breed has only made worse.  

It is time to draft Mark Farrell to run for Mayor next November.

San Francisco can’t afford ten years of London Breed as Mayor. San Francisco can’t afford to back the current candidates running against London Breed because they do not have a serious chance to win. 

Mayor Mark Farrell may not want the job. But, we believe San Francisco needs him. Mayor Mark Farrell is the only person who has the experience to clean up London Breed’s mess and can bring the change San Francisco needs.
